How do North Coast Church members get on list to receive a backpack?
Each campus sponsors specific community partners, but if individual members are in need, contact the “Member Care Coordinator” at each campus to get on the list.
What are the dates for the Drive and what is the latest I can drop off my backpack or supplies?
The Drive runs two weekends at all campuses, July 27-28 and Aug 3-4. Drop off donations by Sunday, Aug 4th.
What organizations benefit from this drive?
*Vista: CalWORKs, Family Recovery Center, Interfaith Community Services, North County Lifeline, Maryland Elementary, Military Families, North Coast Church Families, Pacific View Charter School & Solutions for Change.
*Carlsbad: Rancho Santa Marta, Mexico
*Fallbrook: Fallbrook Union School District
*San Marcos/Escondido: Interfaith Community Services
*Ramona: Ramona Union School District and other community partners
*Rancho Bernardo: Poway Unified School District
Can I donate just backpacks or just school supplies?
Can I donate gently used items, backpacks or supplies?
No thank you! We would like to make sure these kids receive a really nice gift.
What age group has the greatest need?
Do you need to know what age group the backpack is intended for?
Yes! Please mark the pack with “male or female” and the age of the child in mind. Take a piece of paper or tape, and adhere it to the backpack with the information.
Are cash/check donations accepted?
Yes, thank you! The money will be used to fulfill our backpack requests. Checks should be written to North Coast Church, write in memo: Backpack Drive+Campus Name
