About: Vista Village Senior Living is a senior home located in Vista that loves to integrate different generations and allow them to work together. The residents absolutely love to participate in activities. Groups of any age are welcome. Totally family friendly!
Your Choice: Game Night or Craft Night!
Prepare and host a simple craft and provide the needed materials. Please plan a project that is not too complicated and is suited for all generations in addition to the memory care residents. The simpler, the better! Bring all materials that might be needed for the craft such as: paper, glue, safety scissors, paint, paintbrushes, etc. Bring enough to share with your group and the residents. Choice of craft project is completely up to you.
If you choose to play games with the residents, there is a selection of games on-site to choose from such as Bingo, UNO and others. Bingo is always very popular!!! There are typically 8-10 residents that will gather for evening activities. They love to socialize and play games. Feel free to bring your own game if you have a preference. Be prepared to have fun but please be flexible as there are different cognitive levels amongst the residents.
Arrival: We ask that at least one member of your group arrive by 5:45pm in to check in at the front desk of Vista Village. You will be directed to the activity room and allowed time for set up. The rest of the group may arrive between 5:45 to 6pm to start the game/craft night.
***Check in with ED or a MED TECH when you arrive at the front desk and let them know you’re from North Coast Church. If no one is at the front desk, call 760.936-3024 and someone will come out to greet you.
