New! Agua Hedionda Discovery Center Projects: Saturday, June 8th from 9-11am in Carlsbad.
Two projects available:
- Trail Beautification: Volunteer to keep the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Watershed healthy and accessible. Trail and habitat volunteers remove invasive plants, plant native species, remove litter, improve trails, and help with other works as needed. Event is led by experienced staff and volunteers, who oversee activities and lead participants. This work is dirty so come with appropriate clothes, closed-toe footwear, and sun protection. All the tools are provided, and garden experience is not necessary.
- Craft Prep: Help with “craft prep” that will benefit visiting school children attending the Center for educational purposes. All materials provided. Simply come to help prep.
Both these project take place 1/x monthly on Saturdays. Check available dates on the Community Service Website.
