About: First Step House of North County (FSH) is a 10-day alcohol/drug detoxification program for ~250 men who come seeking help annually. They provided a safe, supportive alcohol and drug-free environment to make a new beginning in sobriety.
Project: Create a Christmas stocking to provide a little cheer for men as they work towards getting their sobriety. Purchase an inexpensive dollar store stocking and fill it with new men’s socks and/or underwear. Any size will do as they have a wide variety of men they serve. Feel free to get creative and include a Christmas note and maybe a special chocolate bar or candy cane.
