Oceana is a 55+ community in Oceanside. Residents are excited and passionate about gardening but could use help with the heavier and more labor intensive tasks.
Project Details: Groups may be asked to pull weeds, spread mulch, cut back brush and dig holes or trenches. Some volunteers may be pushing wheelbarrows full of mulch, so some heavy lifting might be required. General help needed beautifying the Oceana Community Garden. If weather is an issue on this date, the project may be moved to April. Please watch for alternate project dates.
