About:  Ivey Ranch Park is a care and recreation center for people with and without special needs.  Their primary operation is horse-riding therapy for people with a range of disabilities and special needs.  Volunteers will help beautify the surrounding areas to ensure a therapeutic and positive environment for all riders and guests. As a non-profit, volunteers are essential to the success of their programs.

Project Details:  This is great project if you like working outdoors! Activities will depend on the current needs at Ivey Ranch and may include general gardening and beautification of the their grounds and garden plots.  This includes clearing weeds and debris, constructing planters, planting sustainable foliage, cleaning park tables, trimming trees and bushes, painting and clearing bridle trails of tumbleweeds.

Social Distancing:  Fortunately, there is plenty of space at the Ranch, so everyone can maintain social distancing.  Please bring a mask while gathering around people, which can be pulled down while working.

Number of People:  Great for groups or individuals, but must have a minimum of 6 people signed up.  If not enough people are signed up, we may have to reschedule volunteers to the following month.  In the event of inclement weather, the project will also be re-scheduled.
