About:  The Discovery Center hosts a ¾ mile walking trail and a large native-species garden exhibit.   There are a lot of opportunities inside the Discovery Center such as administrative, craft prep for student, birthday party craft prep, organizing books, cleaning habitats, and general cleaning (sweeping, dusting, etc.).  Your volunteer efforts will support an enriched learning environment for field trips and help keep the Discovery Center running.

What to Bring/Wear: We suggest dressing comfortably, bring water, snack or lunch depending on how long you stay.  If you decide to bring lunch, there is access to the kitchen.

Provided:  All materials will be provided by The Discovery Center.

Volunteers:  Children 12yr+ only please.  Volunteers 12-16 yrs must be accompanied by an adult chaperone and sign a waiver.  All children 16+ will need a parental permission slips but may be left on their own.
