About: Operation Hope provides a safe, caring, and supportive environment for families with children and single women who are experiencing homelessness as they rebuild their lives.
Project Details: The project involves a refresh of the three client rooms and the installation of one stand-alone three tub commercial sink in the kitchen. The wooden beds are to be torn down, the rooms are to be painted and metal beds are to be assembled and put back it the rooms. This project is meaningful for the families as it will give them a beautiful place to live and will give them pride in their living environment. In addition, the metal beds will be much safer for the families.
Bring: Work gloves/rubber gloves, hats, mask, water, snacks, sunblock
Wear: Masks and appropriate clothing for the project. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are encouraged. If you have Serve Your City shirt, please wear it! They can be purchased at all North Coast campuses during weekend services.
Child Friendly? No
No prior experience needed to serve, but we’re also looking for people with a trade skill (i.e. carpentry, etc.). Do you have experience? Let us know!
