About:  Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a partner organization that builds bunk beds for kids in North County San Diego who do not have one and may be sleeping on the floor or elsewhere.

Bed Delivery Details:  “Bed builds” have taken place over the past few months and there is a good amount of inventory, so it’s time to deliver them.  Join the Sleep in Heavenly Peace team and help deliver beds to children and families who are on the waiting list.  Volunteers will help deliver and assemble 25-30 beds, using four different delivery teams, with each team being led by someone from the SHP group.  Plan to drive yourself to caravan with the SHP team to the delivery site.

Requirements:  Each volunteer is required to fill out a volunteer indemnification.

Child Friendly: Children under the age of 12 are asked to be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

Wear:  Closed toed shoes.

Bring:  Water & snacks if needed.  If you have a truck it would be VERY helpful, but if not, that’s totally fine as you’ll be paired with someone who does.  All tools are provided.

Location:  North Coast Church, Vista Parking Lot.  As you enter the church campus, turn left towards the Cafe and Edge.  Park in this lot and find the SHP team waiting for you.
