All 5,400 students in the Encinitas Union School District visit Farm Lab’s DREAMS Campus and rotate through hands-on, Next Generation Science experiences, sometimes visiting for several consecutive days. Educational visits are designed to impart knowledge and information to students and teachers – instilling the values of authentic learning, inspiring healthy lifestyles, empowering engaged citizens, and stewards of a healthy planet. Farm Lab is also the first certified-organic, district-owned farm in the country growing food for its school lunch program.
