Safe Families is a national non-profit organization that helps church families offer temporary sanctuary to children whose parents are facing a short-term crisis. By housing these children for a short time, we help minimize the risk for abuse or neglect and prevent them from being put directly into child welfare custody in circumstances where it is not necessary.  Safe Families help give parents the time and tools they need to help their families thrive. It is for parents dealing with: homelessness, jail time, drug addiction, sickness, hospital stays, joblessness and other crisis’.
