About:  North Coast has partnered with several retirement communities that offer services to seniors.  During these are unprecedented times, the homes are limiting access to their family members and the community, and thus they need more activities to keep them engaged.  We want to love and honor this special and unique community by providing a little gift that will surely uplift their spirits.  Las Villas Del Norte Retirement Senior Living is located in Escondido and offers residents a uniquely vibrant living experience with innovative accommodations and an incredible activities program.

Project Details: Create a “Blessing Bag/Kit” of any kind from the suggested list below.  Create one large kit, or many small individual kits.

Suggested Kits:

• Spring Garden Kits: container holding small pots, soil, seeds, tools, and a personal note or card of encouragement 
• Game Kits: container with cards, large print puzzle books, pencils, etc. and a personal note or card of encouragement 
• Treat Bags: chocolate, Nilla wafers, Cracker Jacks, etc. and a personal note or card of encouragement (no gum!)
• Toiletry Kits: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, washcloth, lotion, shampoo & conditioner, deodorant and a personal note or card of encouragement 

Pack into:  A dollar store gift bag/basket, sturdy reusable grocery bag, wooden crate, etc.    

Child Friendly? Yes, get the entire family involved.

How Many Kits? Make any amount that fits within your budget.  Please just let us know when registering how many you plan to make and which type.
