North Coast is partnering with I Love A Clean San Diego who will host their annual coastal cleanup day.  There will be 100 + locations for volunteers to choose from, inland and coastal. Each location is hosted by a site captain (a specially trained volunteer) and they will be in charge of managing the volunteers, properly disposing of the trash and reporting back totals.  Click the link below to be directed to the I Love A Clean San Diego’s site and to choose a location near you.  Sites are still being finalized and will be uploaded on 9/1.  Register at CleanupDay.org

Date/Time: September 23rd, 9am-12pm

Location: Multiple location across San Diego County.  Choose a site that works best for you, and register on THEIR website.

Child friendly!  Volunteers under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or guardian signature on their waiver in order to participate.

Items to Bring:

• Extra water or snacks
• Sturdy closed toed shoes, pants and long sleeve shirts
• Hats and sunscreen
• To reduce waste, volunteers are asked to bring reusable supplies, such as a bucket to collect litter, gardening or work gloves
• Backup supplies will be available if forget any of these items
• Note! Every participant needs to sign a waiver; anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian signature to participate.  Bring a signed copy of your waiver.
