Organize & Distribute Thanksgiving To Go Meals - Lifeline - Vista - FULL!

Background: Lifeline’s LifeSpring Program provides transitional housing and intensive services for young adults age 18-24 as they make the move from foster living to full independence. For many of these clients, this will be their first Thanksgiving in their own apartment living on their own. Donors and volunteers are needed to put together To-Go meals for clients to pick up the day before Thanksgiving.

Organize and Distribute Meals: Lifeline will purchase pre-cooked, frozen Thanksgiving meals from a local restaurant or grocery store, and volunteers will help in breaking down and allocating appropriate portion sizes based on family size to be distribute to clients. Approximately 45-50 meals needed, family sizes vary from 1-4 persons (although most are 1).

Details: Ten volunteers needed. Tuesday, November 21st, 10am-2pm. Lifeline’s Vista Campus (200 Michigan Ave, Vista CA 92084).

Another way to support: *They are fundraising $500 to help cover the cost of the meals. If you are interested in donating or sponsoring this event, please donate online (https://www.nclifeline.org/donate-to-program) and select “Thanksgiving Meals” from the drop down menu.
