Alta Vista Botanical Gardens is a place for garden and art enthusiasts. Be a loving neighbor and help clean up the trails throughout the garden to keep this a beautiful place for students and nature lovers alike.
Groups will mostly groom the trails. This could include raking leaves, hoeing weeds and hauling debris away in a wheel barrow. On certain occasions, there are special events in the garden during which set-up might also be needed. Our volunteer coordinator, Ken Bouchard will greet you at the front gate and provide you with tools and directions.
There are some projects suitable for the children in the children’s garden. If interested, please make a note when registering. Children should be at least 12 years old unless they are accompanied by a parent who will be working with them.
