
Create individual toiletry kits for Carlsbad low-income seniors, aged 60 and older, who participate in the city’s free lunch program. Some of the seniors are able to drive to the Carlsbad Senior Center to pick up their lunch while others are home-bound and have lunches delivered to them. These seniors have a real need for basic toiletries. These kits are provided free to the seniors, so by assembling them, you are supporting the center’s goal to these individuals in Carlsbad.

Bags may include the following:
- Bar of soap
- Toothpaste and toothbrush
- Deodorant, shampoo and conditioner
- Razors, shaving cream and washcloth
- Comb and/or brush
- Mouthwash
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- A hand-written card or note of encouragement
- Place all items inside a sturdy grocery bag with handles
How many kits should I make? Any amount that is within your financial means is greatly appreciated. Once we have at least 125 kits collected, Grace Chapman will drop them off at the Carlsbad Senior Center. Thank you.
