Our Annual Backpack Drive benefits many of our Community Partners by equipping them with backpacks and school supplies.  The Drive takes place a few weeks before school starts so that we can distribute the packs to less fortunate children in North County.   The packs will ensure they get a good start to the school year and it makes them feel special.

Project Description: 
About five volunteers are needed to collect and/or sort backpacks and supplies.  It will be a one-day drive-up and drop off event.  Simply greet people with a smile and accept their donations as they drive up.  Volunteers will be pulling backpacks out of cars and sorting them into appropriate piles.  Some heavy lifting may be required.

Volunteers:
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring water, snacks and sunscreen if needed.  All volunteers are asked to wear a mask and will be spaced out in order to comply with Covid guidelines.
