Bingo Night at Alta Vista Senior Living

About:  Alta Vista Senior Living is a senior home for 60+ residents located in Vista off the 78 Freeway.  The home loves to integrate different generations and the residents absolutely love to participate in activities.

BINGO Night:  The residents LOVE playing BINGO every Thursday night!  There is a BINGO set available on site to use.  There are typically 8-10 residents that will gather for evening activities.  They love to socialize and play games.  Be prepared to have fun but please be flexible as there are different cognitive levels amongst the residents.  Please plan to bring a small prize such as a candy, chocolates or something fun from the Dollar store as the seniors LOVE to win prizes.

Larger Groups:  If you have a group that is larger than 5 people and you’d all like to participate, we can split-up your group between two evenings during the same week or try to book you for consecutive weeks.  If this interests you, please make a note in the comments box upon registration and we’ll work to accommodate you.

Start Time/End Time:  Please arrive by 5:20pm in order to get settled into the activity room.  They like to start BINGO at 5:30pm, and you will finish at 6:30pm.

Arrival: Procedure:  Enter at the main entrance, check in at the front desk, and complete a Covid screening and temperature check.  Someone will be at the front desk to escort you to the activities room to set up.  There is a BINGO wheel and balls to use.

Covid Vaccination Procedure:  The home has asked that all volunteers are vaccinated in order to keep their residents safe.  Please bring a printed copy of each person’s vaccination card upon arrival.  Thank you for understanding.

Child Friendly?  At this time, this is not a child-friendly project due to Covid concerns, unless they are 12 yrs+ and are fully vaccinated.
