North Coast Church has sponsored a section of I-5 freeway in Oceanside/Carlsbad by participating in the Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway program.  Help leave a lasting impression with hundreds of thousands of motorists each day, and sign up to help keep sections of I-5 trash-free.

Participation in this project can include one or more of the following activities:

• Removing litter (work frequency varies with location)
• Planting and establishing trees or wildflowers
• Removing graffiti
• Controlling vegetation
• Light lifting may be required.

Location:  To be confirmed once you register.  The team leader will give you directions on where to meet.

Bring/Wear:  Long pants, closed-toed shoes, work gloves, a mask and sun protection are recommended.  Bring a re-usable water bottle and snacks.  The team leader will be present at start to give directions and details when you arrive.

Tools Provided:  Trash bags, trash pickers, gloves, hard hats, safety vests, eye protection

Child Friendly:  Minors must be 16yrs and older to participate provided they are adequately supervised.

Training/Volunteer Forms:  There are two items each volunteer must watch/read, which only takes a few minutes.
