Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway Clean Up Project - Pauma Valley

North Coast Church has sponsored a section of the 76 freeway in Pauma Valley by participating in the Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway program.  Help leave a lasting impression with the hundreds of motorists that pass by each day and keep this section trash-free.

 

 

 

Participation in this project can include one or more of the following activities:

  • Remove litter
  • Control or cut back vegetation
  • Remove graffiti
  • Light lifting may be required

Location:  Start at North Coast Church, Pauma Valley and from there volunteers will caravan to the clean up site.

Bring/Wear:  Long pants, closed-toed shoes, work gloves, a mask and sun protection are recommended.  Bring a re-usable water bottle and snacks.  The team leader will be present to give directions and details when you arrive.

Tools Provided:  Trash bags, trash pickers, gloves, hard hats, safety vests, eye protection

Child Friendly:  Minors must be 16yrs and older to participate provided they are adequately supervised.

Training/Volunteer Forms:  There are two items each volunteer must watch/read, which only takes a few minutes.
