Clothes Sorting and Organization - Ramona Food and Clothes Closet

The mission of the Ramona Food and Clothes Closet is to serve as a humanitarian organization, providing emergency food, clothing, and other resources to aid individuals and low income families in the area.  All of the net profits go back into the community through grants, educational scholarships, homeless programs and emergency assistance.

Project:  Assistance is needed to sort and organize the donations that come into the center.  This is a fun project that can be done by an individual or a Growth Group.  By volunteering your time, it frees up staff time to continue servicing individuals and families who are in great need.

Volunteer application:  All volunteers must complete an application and attend an orientation prior to beginning work.  This will ensure volunteers understand their system and know where clothing needs to be placed.  Orientation dates can be found on their website and take place on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 4pm.  Find dates and application at this link.

People Needed:  Great for Growth groups, individuals, family or a group of friends.

Child Friendly: 15 years and older please.
