About: Fallbrook Food Pantry supports 500-700 families per month who lack consistent and healthy food for their families.

Project:  Volunteers are needed who are willing to drive to deliver food to home-bound seniors in Fallbrook (90%) and occasionally to Bonsall & De Luz.   This support will move food to those that need it the most.  Drivers will pick up food at the Pantry and deliver it to residents as directed. Most clients live in apartments buildings.  A route will consist of 4 to 10 clients and will take 30 min to 1.5hrs to complete each week. Boxes of food for each client range from 20 to 35lbs/box. Some items may be bagged if volunteers wants to carry lighter bags instead of a whole box at once.

Dates/Time: Monday-Friday, 8am-11am Flexible and will be coordinated after registration based on what works for both parties.   Total time commitment involved to pick up and deliver food is about 1 hour.

Training/Commitment: None necessary but directions will be given upon arrival.  The Pantry would like for volunteers to commit to at least one day per week to make deliveries.  Online form for registration will require an account log-in, so please use the Fallbrook Food Pantry online volunteer form to sign up.  TBC

Delivery Vehicles:  Volunteers will use their personal vehicles and should be at least 25yrs old. TBC
