About: Green Oak Ranch is a 140-acre camp and retreat site and drug and alcohol recovery center. They are a 501c (3) who helps transform local lives by hosting retreats and providing a 9-month, Christ-centered residential recovery program.
Project Details: This project includes the relocation of the animals, the demolition of the cockatiel cage and the east corner of the Nature Center.
Bring: Work gloves/rubber gloves, hats, mask, water, snacks, sunblock
Wear: Masks and appropriate clothing for the project. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are encouraged. If you have Serve Your City shirt, please wear it! They can be purchased at all North Coast campuses during weekend services.
Meet: After you enter the property, volunteers will be directed to the main dining hall, which will be on your right about 200 yards from the main gate. There will be a greeter and a check in table. From here, volunteers will be dispersed to their project site.
Child friendly? No.
No prior experience needed to serve, but we’re also looking for skilled professionals. Do you have experience in a skilled trade (i.e. carpentry, plumbing, etc.)? Let us know!
