About: The Youth in Transition program serves homeless families by seeking to remove barriers to enrollment, attendance, transportation, and academic success. We have the opportunity to come alongside a struggling community in a way that seems small, but will make a HUGE impact. Laundry is something that many of us take for granted, but is not always available to people in our community. Youth in Transition has identified families that can not afford to do their laundry (cost of laundromat, detergent, etc.) and has asked North Coast if we could step in and help. We are honored to have the opportunity to help our community feel fresh, clean and confident!
Project: This project involves putting together a Laundry Kit for families who do not have the supplies/resources to get their laundry done on their own. Each kit should include:
-Two rolls of quarters
-10 laundry detergent pods
-Bottle of water
-Snack bar
*Pack into a zip lock bag or paper bag
How Many Kits? Make any amount that fits within your budget, 1-25+
Drop Off: Completed Laundry Kits should be brought to the RB mid-week offices on Saturday, Apr 24th, 9-11am
