About: The REINS Therapeutic Horsemanship Program provides physical, mental, and emotional therapy to a wide range of disabled children and adults through the use of carefully supervised horseback riding. The benefits of this therapy are both mental and physical and include normalization of muscle tone, increased balance & coordination, developments of speech & language, and improvements in body awareness & self-esteem.
Project Details: This project includes building 60′ interlocking brick retaining wall.
Bring: Work gloves/rubber gloves, hats, mask, water, snacks, sunblock
Wear: Masks and appropriate clothing for the project. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are encouraged. If you have Serve Your City shirt, please wear it! They can be purchased at all North Coast campuses during weekend services.
Meet: REINS is located at 4461 S. Mission Rd, Fallbrook, CA 92028. Report in front of the main office upon arrival.
Child friendly? Yes for children 15 years and older. Children need to be supervised by an adult at all times. Please include number of children coming in registration.
No prior experience needed to serve, but we’re also looking for skilled professionals. Do you have experience in a skilled trade (i.e. carpentry, painting, etc.)? Let us know!
