Schoolyard Gardening Project - NCCS

Project Details:

North County Community Services (NCCS) runs a “farm to table movement”.  This program teaches children how to grow and harvest fresh fruits and vegetables.  The farm to table movement is designed to help educate severe low-income families in healthy eating and nutrition.  We have partnered with NCCS to refresh their facilities.  We will rehabilitate their garden beds and playgrounds alongside the parents of the children who benefit from this program.  Pitch in to improve the lives of the youngest in our community.
