Project History:  Almost two years ago a group of 60 North Coast Church volunteers completely refurbished the hospital’s therapy garden.  A refresh is now needed and about 20 volunteers to make it happen!  The garden is used for patients who have sustained brain injury through strokes or accidents and for their families.  Patients have long stays in the rehabilitation unit and the garden is a place for therapy and to spend time with their family.

Project Description:  Work will include sanding all planter boxes, re-sealing boxes with linseed oil, weeding, removal & re-planting of overgrown plant areas and anything else that might make the area happy again!

Bring:  Work gloves and any garden tools you can bring.  Water bottle, snacks, gloves, sunscreen, comfortable clothing & shoes.

Child Friendly?  Sorry, this project is not child friendly.  Due to the flu outbreak, children are not allowed to help with this project, per hospital request.
