About:  Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a partner organization that builds bunk beds for kids in North County San Diego who do not have one, and may be sleeping on the floor or elsewhere.

Bed Build Details:  Join us as we build beds with Sleep in Heavenly Peace! Volunteers will learn how to build bunk beds and will have a chance to learn how to use woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders, hammers and many other pieces of equipment. You will also learn how to measure, level and make true woodcuts as well as how to sand and stain wood.  The goal is to build 20 beds as we get ready for the Christmas deliveries.

Requirements:  Each volunteer is required to fill out a volunteer indemnification.

Child Friendly: Children under the age of 12 are asked to be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

Wear:  Closed toed shoes, pants and a hat if needed.

Bring:  Work gloves, water, sunblock and snacks as needed

Location:  North Coast Church, Vista, Edge parking Lot.  As you enter the church campus, turn left towards the Coffee House and Edge.  Park in this lot and find the SHP team waiting for you.
