About: Participate in a “Community Delivery Day” as we have multiple teams of people that will deliver beds to kids ages 3-17 throughout the North County Area. You’ll work with trained SHP leaders on a team of 5-6 people to deliver the new beds, new mattresses and new bedding. While building beds is fun, delivering the beds is the most rewarding! Please come out and make a difference in the lives of children, impacting them forever!

Purpose:  During this event we’ll take the beds to the homes of children that are currently sleeping on the floor, or in other compromised situations. We’ll leave them with a new bed and know that starting now they’ll be able sleep comfortably!

Bed Delivery Details: Plan to meet at the location below, then load the materials in our vehicles and travel locally to a few sites! We’ll assemble the beds in the homes, then make the beds with new bedding, ready for immediate use! It would be very nice if you have a truck that can haul beds, but it’s not a requirement to volunteer!

Child Friendly: Children under the age of 12 are asked to be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

Wear:  Closed toed shoes.

Bring:  Water & snacks if needed.  If you have a truck it would be VERY helpful, but if not, that’s totally fine as you’ll be paired with someone who does.  All tools are provided.

Location:  North Coast Church, Vista, Edge parking Lot.  As you enter the church campus, turn left towards the Coffee House and Edge.  Park in this lot and find the SHP team waiting for you.
