About: The Agrarian Institute’s goal is to teach valuable gardening skills to children and their families. If you’re a like-minded individual who shares a passion for sustainable agriculture and fostering a sense of community, this is the project for you. Help make a tangible impact on food security in our community.
Project details: Involves a day of working in the garden. The project may involve planting, weeding, mulching, harvesting, prepping garden beds and more. Strong bodies are needed, but this project is family friendly with parent supervision.
Who: Life groups & individuals welcome!
How Many: Seeking 60 dedicated volunteers!
Location: 4356 Holly Lane, Bonsall, CA 92003
Rain: The project will be rescheduled in the event of rain at which time you will be contacted.
Tools: Please bring any of these tools if you have them, rakes, hoes, shovels and gardening gloves.
Wear/Bring: Closed toed shoes, re-usable water bottle, hat, snacks and sunscreen. Wear a North Coast Church t-shirt if you have one.
Parking: Parking is available on the property dirt lot. Look for the A-frame sign at the gate directing you to the farm.
Child friendly? Children are welcome with parent supervision. Please indicate the number of children 6yrs and under in your registration so we may have enough suitable projects.
