Trail and Park Beautification: Enhance the natural beauty and healthy environment of Fallbrook by improving the community forest and promoting a pedestrian friendly atmosphere. If you enjoy being outside and gardening, this is a great project for you. Work includes planting, trail maintenance, trash pick-up, weeding, pruning, digging, and re-establishing native trees.
Day: 3rd Saturday/Month
Time: 9am-12pm
Location: Pico Promenade, which is located to the right of the Fallbrook Fertilizer, Feed & Farm Supply at 215 W Fallbrook Street. Parking might be available in the Major Market Grocery Store parking lot at 845 S Main Ave. Then cross the street to Fallbrook Fertilizer. The entrance to the trail will be to the right of Fallbrook Fertilizer.
Bring: Work gloves, garden clippers, water, hats, sunscreen and snacks. Masks are optional.
Wear: Closed toed shoes and long pants/long sleeves are highly recommended.
Number of People: This is a great opportunity for small groups, individuals, families and children, but children must have parental supervision. Need at least three (3) adults signed up to run the project. If a parent signs up their child, the parent must attend the project as well.
