Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to plant 136 trees in the City of San Marcos. Volunteers will not only learn the proper techniques of planting trees, but will learn to have a greater connection with nature, learn about our urban forests and about the lasting impact that trees can have on our carbon emissions.
Project Details: North Coast Church has partnered with the City of San Marcos and a local arborist to plant 136 trees and help the reforestation of our urban forest. Trained leaders will guide volunteers on the proper planting techniques. We hope to have North Coast members along with the community to take part in this event. Planting these trees will have an incredible life-long impact have on the community, the children and its residents.
Day/Time: Saturday March 21st, 8:00am-12pm
Location: Meet at Bradley Park in San Marcos.

The festivities will kick off at the north side of the park, on Linda Vista Dr., across from Free Builders Supply Store. There is plenty of street parking or you may try the soccer arena parking lot as well. All volunteers are to meet at Bradley Park, and depending and will be dispersed to their planting location once your teams have been designated. The secondary planting site is Sunset Park, which is a short walk away.
Number of People: This project is great for groups or individuals. Family friendly.
Bring: Gloves, hats, sunscreen, snacks & re-usable water bottle. Please bring shovels or picks if you have them (please label them!).
Wear: Full-length pants and closed-toed shoes recommended.
Waiver: All volunteers will need to sign a wavier on-site. Anyone under the age of 18yrs will need a parent/guardian signature.
