Volunteer at The San Diego Food Bank - Vista or Miramar Locations

The North County Food Bank needs of volunteers to help clean and package fresh produce and sort canned foods.  The Food Bank relies on individuals and groups to help in their warehouse.

Age of Volunteers:  Must be 16 years of age or older

Days/Times:  Two shift options are available.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday: 1 pm-4pm
Tuesday – Saturday:  6 pm-8pm

Project Description:
-Cleaning and packaging fresh produce for immediate distribution.
-Inspecting, sorting, boxing, and labeling food donations

Training:  Training is not required and there are no time commitments. You may volunteer one time, or on a regular basis.

How do I volunteer?  Volunteers must sign up for a shift using THE FOOD BANK’s online registration system.   If you cannot find a volunteer shift available, please check back daily. They are continuing to get last minute cancellations and are in need of regular volunteers.
