The Poway Unified School District Youth in Transition (YIT) program serves almost 200 students that are underserved or homeless.  They seek to remove barriers to enrollment, attendance, transportation, and academic success.  This project is great for both individuals or groups.  If you’d like to get involved, please contact Laura, the Team Leader to find out what their current needs are.  Needs change from season to season and can vary.  Distribution of items to the students are done on an as needed basis or via planned drive-thru events.
