Project Details: North Coast Church has partnered with the City of San Marcos to plant trees and help the reforestation of the area. The goal is to plant 138 trees at two parks in the City of San Marcos. We’re looking for around ~30 leaders to take part in a workshop (Feb 29th) during which you’ll learn about tree species, proper planting techniques and tree care. Or, if you want to help plant trees along with 150 + other volunteers, then sign up for THIS event. By planting these trees, volunteers will have an incredible life-long impact have on the community, the children and residents.
Day/Time: Saturday March 21st, 8:30am-12pm
Number of People: This project is great for groups or individuals. Family friendly.
Bring: Gloves, hats, sunscreen, snacks & water. Shovel (s) if you have them (please label them).
Wear: Full-length pants and closed-toed shoes recommended.
Provided: Tools are provided, however, volunteers may want to bring their own work gloves.
